Trade Room at Bent's Fort, Southeast Colorado
Trade Room at Bent’s Fort, La Junta, Colorado.  The fort was situated on the Arkansas River in Southeast Colorado, established by William Bent and Ceran St. Vrain  who partnered in the fur trade. It’s strange standing on the bank of the river, realizing that at one time Mexico was on the other side of the river.
