The Maltese Cross cabin is located at the South Entrance to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota.
While in Dakota Territory, Roosevelt developed a major interest in natural history and conservation and went on to establish the U.S. Forest Service and to sign the 1906 Antiquities Act.
